working up north 
Hello I am Stephen and this is the first blog I have ever done. I am from the small town of High River.
The worst job I have ever had is working on the rigs. You see me doing this on the picture to the left. This was the worst job I had because of its demands. There was also the aspect of that I almost died about 5 times and should have broken my arms and legs a few times. So that was the bad part but i must say it was also the best job that I have ever had. When i was up north working i learned a great work ethic. I was glad that I went up north to work on the rigs because now I still have that hard work ethic that I learned up north. There was also the people that I met up there they where so cool I was really lucky to have such a great team. There was one guy up there his name was Bruce and he was older but what shocked me was that he had advanced arthritis in his hips and arms but he worked harder then most of the young guys on the crew. I really look up to him in seeing such a hard working individual even though it was really hard for him. Lastly there was the money getting a $3200 paycheck is defiantly not bad. That made it really hard to leave to come to Lethbridge to come to school.
So now I am in school at the University of Lethbridge in my second year. I am in Net art in this year which I am really excited about because I want to learn all about web page design. My goal is to by the end of the class to have my own website up and to start making a portfolio for when I graduate. Well that is about it this is me and I hope that everyone that is in net art with me has a great class and learns alot as I hope too.
